Holiday Message from the Town Council
We at Pagham-on-Sea Town Council would like to wish everyone a safe and merry time this holiday season.
We have made some hard decisions regarding the council budget in this past year, but we want to reassure all residents of the Jubilee and Queen Mary estates that lighting and CCTV will not be compromised, and would like to thank all residents for their fundraising efforts for additional lights this year. There are still some areas around private residences on the estates where lights are not switched on, and we again plead caution when walking through dark spaces.
This said, while in the town centre and especially while walking along the coastal paths, please be vigilant for any lights or bonfires that look out of place. Do not approach them. Please be mindful of your own safety, and follow the official advice on the Council’s dedicated help pages.
Please don’t forget – if something is coming down your chimney, it is unlikely to be Santa. Call the usual hotline if you hear anything on your roof.
Let’s look out for each other this season, and a very happy new year will be had by all.
